The restaurant of the Domaine de la Forêt d’Orient: bistronomic cooking rooted in the Champagne region, served in a light-filled contemporary setting that opens onto the terrace and the grounds — 20 km from Troyes (20 minutes).
Bathed in light, the dining room at Le Héron Cendré opens wide onto the terrace and the estate grounds. Pale wood, natural tones and full-height windows create a warm, contemporary setting where time slows down.
In fine weather, the terrace facing the Champagne countryside becomes the loveliest room in the house. A business lunch, dinner for two or a family gathering: the setting suits every occasion — just steps from the rooms, the spa and the golf course.
The cooking here is bistronomic: generous and creative, but without fuss. Our chef and his team work to a short, carefully judged menu that changes with the seasons and puts local producers and Champagne terroir centre stage.
